Well, this morning's post is now partly obsolete!
We have a date to go to France and sign the Acte De Vente!
We will take ownership of our lovely little house on October 9th, at 3pm. Then we will be the proud owners, at last, of our own home and will finally be starting our next adventure.

Bob will be taking his first ever foreign trip, and I must confess to being a little concerned about that. He's a bit old and very set in his ways - and is most definitely not an indoor cat (don't anyone give me grief about that, even when he was a flat cat, he managed to get out onto the outside windowsills of our 2nd floor flat, right next to a railway line, we moved to where we are now so he could continue his escapology more safely). He is a hunter and likes to prowl his territory, and given we back onto fields here, he is used to his freedom to come and go as he likes. I worry that on the day we are due to come back, he'll go missing!
I've bought him a huge pet carrier and one of those harness things, to try and at least keep him comfy and safe on the way there and back. He needs medicine twice a day now, so we don't want to leave him with our neighbours, the way we have in the past, as he is a devil to get him to take it! He has his passport, so he's all ready to go!
